From eScan Management Console i am not able to connect to XP professional. This XP Professional does not log on to any Windows 2000 domain
Please do the following and this should resolve your issues. Please note this is the default security issue of Windows XP and not an issue with eScan. This problem will never happen if XP machines Log on to Domain.
1. On the Windows XP Go to Control Panel – Administrative Tools – Local
2. Click on Local Policies – Security Options
3. On the Right hand Side Double click the option
“Network Access: Sharing and Security Model for Local accounts”
4. Change the default mode to “Classic – Local user authenticate as themselves
