Web statistics client
Access to the statistics in the Web Statistics Module is permission-based and includes three levels: User, Manager, and Administrator. Users can view only their own statistics. Managers can view the statistics of users. Finally, administrators can view user statistics and create report templates. The permission level is set in the UserGate Administration Console, in the settings for each specific user.
To connect to the Web statistics module through a web browser, the user needs to type in the IP address of the computer on which UserGate is running and the port number. There is a welcome screen that shows basic account information for that particular user. Clicking on the “Web-statistics” link in the menu will show the user statistics according to his/her permission level.
Statistical information is available not only in table form, but also in the form of charts (diagrams) that make the reports easier to view. There are numerous options to fine-tune how the statistics are presented: diagram type (linear, pie chart, bar chart etc.), reporting period, modifications to diagram graphics, and so on.
